Thinking about a drone?

In a previous blog, I mentioned that I was contemplating the purchase of an ebike. My main problem that I face as I get older is mobility; an ebike would definitely help, but so would a drone.
I am constantly watching YouTube videos where they are used, and it makes sense if you’re handicapped. Why walk a mile? It’s no small task for an elderly person. But imagine that after walking a mile, the area of interest is closed. Enter the drone: you can sit at camp and send your drone down to the area while enjoying a cup of coffee. If the area is a bust, you are no worse for the wear and tear on your aching joints.
Recently, after watching Ukraine kick Russian ass with the same drones, I started to wonder what the USA is doing to protect their prized billion-dollar bombers from the same fate. I think it’s only a matter of time until the USA bans drones, so I’ll hold off for a while before flushing $500 down the toilet.
I faintly remember years ago there were two GPS coordinate points: one precise for the military and one purposely degraded to prevent pinpoint missile targets. Then it all became one. Looks like, at the very least, we may go back to a watered-down result, but given the destruction of these bombs, it doesn’t seem feasible to the point that they might restrict consumer GPS results.
