There's gold in the mail

I received an email that my bag of paydirt from Alaska has shipped. In case anyone is following my adventure, I'll explain paydirt since this was new to me.
Many larger gold mines run a side business for extra income selling paydirt from their mine. There are a few scams out there, but normally the mine will scoop dirt from their mine unchecked and dump it in a pile. The bag sold to you includes the unsearched dirt plus some seeding of real gold.
This is a hobby for some at home searching the paydirt for the motherlode. Gold in bedrock is usually sent for an assay to predetermine the amount of gold per ton; most come in at under an ounce of gold per ton, so when they scoop one shovel from the pile, your chances are slim, like a lottery ticket.
I have no interest in this as a hobby but purchased it to practice with my new high banker and gold pan.
