Recently I posted a blog about my BP journey and stumbled upon a YouTube doctor who was passionate about heart health and the proper way to take a BP reading, a must-watch. I'll post a link.

I followed her suggestions on the proper technique for taking an accurate reading. I sat down, relaxed in a chair for about 20 minutes. Then I positioned the cuff further up my arm so it was free to bend, about half an inch from the biceps crease. The 149/91 was worlds apart from past readings. I waited 5 minutes while I did my version of meditation and took another reading, 134/88.

That's insanely low and falls into no BP medications. Now I'm fairly confident that my morning supplements are not revolutionary, so it has to be her advice.

In the past blog, I mentioned supplements that I was going to use to improve my vein health. There is no doubt that with these supplements I can achieve my 125/75 target. Everyone will have your own target; talk with your physician.

My young man's healthy construction job numbers were very low, like 116/63. So I split the difference for my new target.
