Seniors don't fall for the scam
Either phone or email

Kash Patel has an important message about phone scams supposedly from the ATF or FBI. This was on an MSN slideshow; I'll see if I can post a link.
It's great information for seniors who are not digitally savvy. Since I rarely answer the phone, this is a moot point for me, but every now and then I receive a pay-up or God help you email that I just delete; I don't even open the message. Usually, there are subtle URL differences, like instead of FBI.gov, the message might be from FBI.com, stuff like that.
Just hang up or delete the email. Rest assured that if you owe these people money, you will receive a legitimate-looking bill in the mail.
