Midlife crisis?
70?

Up late tonight, checking in. One of the pains of retirement is living month to month; purchases have to be planned. I started to shop for a bike helmet in preparation for the ebike purchase next week.
I have decided on the ebike purchase for many reasons but mainly for mobility. The problem I face is choosing between the Fiido T1 or M1. The T1 fits my checklist perfectly but weighs 70 pounds and does not fold. This presents two problems: one is the difficulty of lifting it onto a truck bed or carrier. Then there is the added expense of the most expensive bike hitch carrier due to its weight.
My second choice is the M1, which weighs 20 pounds less and folds in half for transport, eliminating the need for a bike carrier. Since most of my ride time will be spent exploring rather than hauling the highbanker gear around and actually prospecting, I am leaning towards the M1 on sale. Either way, I'll pick up the helmet tonight.
I would ask for some input, but it is what it is. 😞 I had to laugh at the older guy in the T1 who is hearing noises in the rafters; it happens to us all eventually. As far as a midlife crisis at 70 goes, I think I’m exempt, but I might be guilty of the 'I don’t give a damn' 70's.
