Lets plan
Thanks to MPD I have time

This photo is a screenshot using software from an app that I use called The Dyrt. I think it costs $50 for a year and is another worthwhile purchase. All the little markers represent different campsites currently available near me, covering everything from expensive KOA to free dispersed campsites.
I currently have several trips planned. For me, it's simply a matter of finding closed mine dumps using the USGS website. Then, I plug the mine location into this program and instantly have every available campsite pop up, including descriptions, costs, and directions, often allowing reservations right from the app.
The first trip I started to plan was for the spring, taking into consideration the weather, mainly since the area I want to explore ranges from 120°F in the summer down south to the lower 80's up around Oregon. Unfortunately, due to the continued MPD corruption, I had to shelf that trip and start one for the summer. This app allows me to store dozens of preplanned adventures.
I have discovered many useful trip hacks and tips that I'll share for the creation of your own adventure. Life is short, join me 😀
