I had a pleasant surprise as I had my morning coffee while checking the laptop for news. Apparently, there are many Democrats expressing the fear that Trump might retaliate. Are you fucking kidding me are you really that delusional. Regardless how you feel about Trump what this country did to one man and his family left me feeling ashamed to be an American.
Every American deserves accountability when the law of the land is skewed to favor one party over the other, regardless of the reason or motive. Whether you are waiting 480 days to hear from your elected officials over grand theft auto or illegal search and seizure of an X President’s home, you will and must be held accountable.
It is not so much a matter of who is right or wrong but failure to apply the law to all equally, it’s America or use to be. This country forgets too easily only when convenient.
Good example is COVID. It was not that long ago this nation was up in arms over China’s release of the virus from a lab, either intentionally or by accident, millions died. I recently read an article where China admits the virus in all probability escaped from Wuhan lab.
Is this the part where we are to say fuck it, no problem it was only a few billion dollars and thousands of our elderly or create the rational that because they were old, were going to die shortly anyway. At what point do we say enough and leave a lasting impression to a foreign state that this will never happen again.
I am not naïve enough to think of Trump as my savior, all I’m asking is a move in the right direction to save this country.
