The bag is finished and weighs 15# which is not bad, once the pack is adjusted. I picked up a wool blankie to secure on the webbing on the front of the pack. I have Arthritis and Sciatica and will need to take a break now and then. This way I can just remove this from the front without digging around in the pack.
I picked this up at SmartWool Hudson Trail Oversized Throw Blanket – Merino Wool, 68×55” (sierra.com). If you decide to pick up a wool blanket make sure you can wash and hang dry, avoid dry clean only or your blanket might shrink to the size of a towel 😊
