Today I doubled my plank push-ups to two. No, I'm not delusional thinking a disabled 70-year-old will ever look like Arnold.

The point that I gleaned from watching all these bodybuilders is that what they apply to their workouts, seniors can do the same. Fuel your body with good foods, keep going until you feel the burn, and don't think about it; just do it.

As soon as I was done with my Body Builder App, I immediately went into a prone position and did one pushup with no problem, then without thinking, started another perfect plank push-up and fought through the burn.

First, feeling the burn doesn't mean sending yourself to the ER, but it means trying at 70 with the same commitment as Arnold doing 100# arm curls. I view overcoming my challenges the same as his; the weight is pointless.

Seniors, if you want to live a normal life, then feel the burn.
