One of my favorite movies is The Book of Eli. There's one scene where he finds comfort during the apocalypse listening to an old iPod hooked up to a motorcycle battery.
What happens to your $1,000 smartphone if we lose the power grid? Granted, you can't dial Domino's takeout, but I would enjoy some apocalyptic me-time relaxing to the Carpenters to keep me calm.
