Jeff Williams is a YouTube vlogger and geologist. I found Jeff's video years ago, and he is probably responsible for my new hobby.

I decided to share any gold prospecting knowledge I discovered while being a newbie in the hobby. There's plenty for everyone who's willing to pay their dues. The worst-case scenario if a 2025 gold rush started would be lower gold prices since I'm amassing my life savings, which is rather moot.

My next plan is to find a closed mine for sale cheap that would fall under the old law allowing permanent camping. Technically, if your claim is on BLM land, you can camp for two weeks, then move for two weeks before camping again.

Apparently, I picked up one of the few remaining Goldfox Backpack highbankers, so I checked a company that makes an ABS version, but they are sold out as well. I did find one company making a quality aluminum version, and I'll post a link.
