Let’s talk Mini

Before the theft I was attempting to completely rebuild my Mini complete with a 1.5” lift kit and oversized tires. I will not bore you with all the new parts but suffice to say it was substantial, even the springs were base/clear coated and new Bilstein Shocks installed.

The subframe was removed and completely rebuilt and here is the problem. to remove the subframe it was necessary to remove the axle and transfer case from the four-wheel drive. I did this by lowering the drive shaft and gently laying on the ground.

Along comes Keystone and ripped this from the jack stands while in a hurry to complete their illegal activity before I made it home from court. The cost for a replacement Mini Cooper transfer case and axle is sustainable. That is why I want the photos for that day so I can see exactly how they abused my property.

There were also a substantial number of electronics, tools and new expensive Mini Cooper parts in the car when stolen.

  1. You forgot to mention that this was accomplished for well over a year by squireling away parts and bargains on a fixed income.
