I was a bit confused when dealing with MPD Officer 86/Constable Daniel Borchick. So, I did a brief web search, this is a free for all job position that started in the 1600’s mainly when you had a horse or a cow stolen and needed immediate judgment or relief this who you would contact. Aside from mainly being the courts collections officer the only relevant duties that would fit into 2024 government would be they are the only authorized person to guard the safety and integrity of the election, that’s it.
Their powers depend on what and where you go for information. One article compared their powers to that of the PASP. Now take one look at the picture and you can see the error in this belief. Can’t pass the PASP psychiatric test, physical test or IQ test then this is the job for you. All that is needed is a 40-hour course on how to act as a constable, 86 must have been absent on the day you can’t keep stolen cars day at class. Plus 20 hours on using your firearm providing you are not so obese that drawing the weapon might pose a problem.
I am not body shaming but let’s live in a world based on reality. I have a permanent hernia bulge on my right side due to introducing my motorcycle to a guardrail. Immediately I realized my job as a Speedo swimsuit model were over. Seriously McAdoo this is the best we could do for a voted position? 400-pound women and men are not hired as flight attendants not because they are not beautiful people but because they are too fat to walk down the isles with a cart. Not every person is suited for every job, just a fact of life.
At least hire someone who could run should your life depend on it. Now picture martial law for whatever reason. Do you want your life to be void of all civil law and in the hands of the guy in the photo?
Maybe our concept of a State Constable needs to be reevaluated. I would suggest this to my State Rep Watro but alas just another useless person like tits on a bull.
