I rebuilt the subframe from the Mini. To remove this frame, it is necessary to remove the drive shaft from the transfer case or disconnect from the center hub in the middle of the Mini and lower the drive shaft on the ground and slide the frame out from the back.
When NKT snatched my Mini from the jack stands this drive shaft was gently laid on the ground with the business end still in the transfer case. If this was never properly supported during transport it is destroyed and needs to be replaced.
This is serious money for a senior living on a fixed income. Not to mention all the motor mounts are probably damaged from transport without the subframe for support, on and on.
The first person that try’s some shady insurance blue book value for settlement gets it shoved up their ass!
