Harrasment politicaly motivated?

I have never considered myself a political motivated person, most elections I had no clue as to my political preference until one of the poll watchers would announce my name as Rebublican. I became political awakened through a candidate for the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump. For the first time I was voting not just a political machine but a person that I felt like I could trust, a unique emotion/concept, so I proudly displayed my Trump flag alongside my American flag. While driving around McAdoo that year I could not help but notice the number of Democrats and thier Biden yard signs, especially around the McAdoo Borough building. I never gave it much thought after that.

Fast forward to today and the convoluted dilemma I find myself in. In the back of my mind during the past two years was a nagging question, why all the hostility? I worked six or seven days a week at the cigar factory and with what little spare time I could scrounge was spent repairing my home. Realistically, I was never around to offend. The conclusion for me was that I annoyed McAdoo's government for constantly writing them letters. In my own defence, if you find the number of letters offensive then try replying.

Could all of this hostility and harrasment be politicaly motivated? Hopefully when this elusive investigation concludes they could mention this in thier report.
